Flirting with Enlightenment ✨

As I aspire enlightenment on the yogic journey I realise that we can also easily get blinded by mystical allures, someone else’s ideas creating illusions and also our own ego which is thirsty for praise and recognition to avoid facing our insecurities and our biggest fears it is such a delicate dance between the physical and the metaphysical, the tangible and the transcendent and there is a very fine line between spiritual exploration and the potential for delusion chasing for twinkling mirages in the sand or getting lost in the many shades of grey of our own shadow

The sacred space where the practice of yoga unfolds is so unforgivingly honest though and translates into a beautiful conversation between body mind soul spirit and whatever else you want to call it on this journey within, aligning the different aspects of our being which is an unfolding experience on this path leading us back home.

Each posture is a mirror reflecting not only the physical plane but also the inner landscape of beliefs, thoughts and emotions flirting with the edges of our limitations become a metaphor for pushing the boundaries of the ego and transcending anything that is hindering our spiritual growth so we can live aligned in love something seemingly difficult when the outer world is challenging, triggering, disappointing, destroying.

Facing death, the end of a life cycle or a relationship are very uncomfortable and often endings are painful it hurts to see or feel someone go just as it is very painful to let an old version of ourselves die but that bittersweet pain of loosing someone or grieving an old version of ourselves is also love its just the flip side of the coin kind of love complementing the pink fluffy cloud love and absolutely nothing to fear but to wholeheartedly embrace as we rebirth into a newer updated version of ourselves.

So no matter how disillusioned or heartbroken we may be by the events in the outer or our inner world let’s continue to choose LOVE and expand into love as it is one of the most powerful energies of all.
